How much is shipping?
Shipping is FREE anywhere in the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii, and APO addresses. Anywhere else, please contact us.

In what shape will the violin arrive?The violin will be ready to be played upon arrival. All you need to do is tune the instrument and you can start playing.

What happens if something is broken upon receiving the violin?
Just give us a call at (323) 4-VIOLIN anytime between 9am-9pm PST and we’ll help you resolve the issue. Typically, we'll have another violin shipped to you within 48 hours.
I’m scared that my violin might be stolen during shipping. Can that happen?
To protect your violin against theft, we require signature confirmation. If you’re not home when the Postal Service drops off the violin, they will leave a pickup notice on your doorstep or in your mailbox so you can either schedule a re-delivery or pick up your violin from your local Post Office.
I’ve never bought a violin online and I’m scared that something might happen during shipping. What should I do?
All our violins will be shipped with shipping insurance so if anything happens during shipping, the Postal Service will handle the damages & we will have another violin shipped to you within 48 hours.

What payment methods can I use?You can pay in a variety of ways, including credit/debit cards, PayPal, and financing options.
How is my information protected?
To avoid fraud, Mozart Violins does not use its own credit card processing system. All website traffic is encrypted with 128-bit SSL and processed over an HTTPS protocol. All online transactions are processed through the online payment processor PayPal. To protect your information, PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to PayPal using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits.
How is sales tax determined for my order?
Since we're based here in California, sales tax is only charged in California. After you enter your shipping information, sales tax will automatically be added to the subtotal.

Yes, you can.
Re-learning a musical instrument is like riding a bike. We never completely forget how to ride a bike, even if we haven’t ridden one in years.
Return/Warranty
What is your return policy?We offer a 90-day return policy, so as long as the violin is in new condition, you can return it to us for a full refund.
What is the warranty on your instruments?
All our violins come with a 1 yr warranty. Warranty covers pegs, chinrest, fingerboard, endpins, and tailpieces. Warranty does not cover wearable parts such as the strings or damage caused by misuse.
